Vertical Solar Installation on a Boundary Wall
For this project in the canton of Vaud, the architectural configuration of the property did not allow for a rooftop solar installation. To ensure optimal energy production despite these constraints, Younergy Solar designed a tailored solution combining vertically mounted panels installed along the property’s boundary wall with additional solar modules placed directly on the ground.
This approach made it possible to maximise solar exposure by using surfaces that are typically underutilised, while fully adapting to the site’s layout. The vertical installation also provides strong performance throughout the year — particularly in winter, when the sun remains lower and vertical panels capture more direct irradiation.
